Enzo Marcolini founded Il Monte Caro, a family-run farm, in 1986 after falling in love with the place when he stumbled upon Mount Caro. He decided to start a new life and agricultural adventure there. Over time, Enzo's initial dream has evolved with the help of his two sons. They are expanding their work on the vineyards and olive trees, and have added new side projects such as beehives, veggies, and spontaneous herbs. The farm's goal is to enhance the biodiversity of the Mount, and this is an ever-evolving process that makes the farm a vibrant place! Each vintage, they produce wines that respect and tell the story of their land. They use only the best organic grapes and never add any winemaking additives.
