La Coste de Los Andes, the Argentinian winery, is an esteemed venture associated with the renowned French winery Chateau La Coste. Nestled at the base of the Andes Mountains in Los Chacayes, Valle de Uco, Mendoza, this vineyard thrives in the heart of Mendoza, a pivotal hub in the Cuyo Wine Region, home to a substantial 75% of Argentina's vineyards.

Overseen by winemaker Lucas Gimenez Bachiocchi and guided by advisor Michel Rolland, this winery, responsible for crafting wines under the Andillian and other labels, embodies a philosophy rooted in the veneration of terroir, achieved through sustainable viticulture practices and the preservation of the unique environment of this wine-rich region. This commitment extends to safeguarding soil fertility and its innate character, with the vineyards achieving organic certification from Argencert since 2014.

Spanning 45 hectares and situated at an elevation of 1,270 meters above sea level, this vineyard occupies a central position within the I.G. Los Chacayes appellation, characterized by its remote location, temperate climate, unspoiled soils, and indigenous flora. At the foot of the Andes Mountain Range, the interplay between diverse climates and soils lends depth, grace, and concentration to their wines.

The winemaking processes harmoniously merge the forces of nature and technology. The careful selection and hand-harvesting of only the finest grapes set the stage, followed by fermentation in a range of vessels, including stainless steel tanks, concrete eggs, and oak barrels.
