Di Giovanna
Sicily, Italy

Brothers Gunther and Klaus Di Giovanna oversee the management of their family's 5th generation property, nestled within the mountainside of Monte Genuardo, a protected nature reserve in western Sicily. The estate comprises almost 100 hectares, boasting 65 hectares of vineyards, 14 hectares of olive groves, and 21 hectares of wheat fields and forests, all meticulously cultivated using organic methods.

Their vineyards, named Miccina, Gerbino, Paradiso, San Giacomo, and Fiuminello, are situated in the charming DOC regions of Contessa Entellina and Sambuca di Sicilia, within the heart of the Terre Sicane. Miccina, Gerbino, and Paradiso vineyards are perched on the elevated slopes of the Contessa Entellina DOC. Meanwhile, San Giacomo and Fiuminello vineyards, which reach elevations between 680 and 830 meters above sea level, gracefully ascend the slopes of Monte Genuardo, encircling the winery.

The selection of vine varieties was made after thorough micro-pedoclimatic studies. In the white wine category, they have Grillo, Catarratto, and Chardonnay. Among the reds, they proudly grow Nero d’Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Syrah, and Merlot, incorporating a harmonious blend of indigenous and select international grape varieties.
